He placed before the Union Government selected priority infrastructure requirements of Arunachal Pradesh, including urban infrastructure projects such as augmentation of water supply and drainage systems in Itanagar and other urban areas, and the strategic Rupai to Wakro Parashuram Kund railway line.

He highlighted that the railway project will significantly strengthen connectivity, bolster border infrastructure and promote religious tourism in the State, and informed that it has already received clearance from the Ministry of Defence.

The Deputy CM also drew attention to the limited access of the State to Externally Aided Projects and emphasized the need for continued support from the Union Government to bridge resource gaps and to sustain the current development momentum.
