LIKABALI, Jan 29: Lower Siang district has selected the beneficiaries under Atma Nirbhar Pashu Palan Yojana (ANPPY) for the period 2025-26.
This ‘development’ took place during a meeting of the District Level Implementation cum Monitoring Committee (DLIMC), convened by Lower Siang Deputy Commissioner Ainstein Koyu at his office conference hall here today.
In the course of the meeting, the implementing departments and the Branch Managers of various banks rigorously screened the applications received in the office and finalized the beneficiaries under ANPPY 2025-26 for the district.
In his address, the DC made it clear that the committee adopts a very transparent selection process based on genuineness, viability and potentiality of the trade and the prospective beneficiaries. He also instructed the departments concerned and the banks to ensure regular monitoring and feedback against actual implementation of the schemes to ensure that the project actually materializes on the ground.
Meanwhile, the District Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Officer Dr Tagum Tamut and District Fisheries Development Officer Ige Tacha have presented the guidelines and parameters governing the implementation of the scheme along with the applications received by both departments for the financial year 2025-26.
