AI Explorer Program launched for school students at Doimukh

Doimukh, Feb 2: An Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programme for school students titled “AI Explorer Program” commenced on Monday at PM SHRI Higher Secondary School, Doimukh, in Papum Pare district. The programme is being organised under the aegis of the Department of IT & Communication, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

The five-day boot camp, scheduled from February 2 to 6, is being conducted in collaboration with Rancho Labs, with technical support from the Technology Innovation Hub, IIT Delhi. A total of 50 students from classes VI to XII are participating in the current batch.

The initiative aims to introduce young learners to Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies and industry-relevant skills, preparing them for future opportunities in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

The AI Explorer Program serves as an introductory module designed to build a strong foundation and spark curiosity about AI among students. During the programme, participants will learn about the basics of AI, how it works, its use in everyday life and its real-world applications across various sectors and industries.

DITO Tadar Riniam, along with teachers and faculty members of the school, was present on the occasion and encouraged students to actively engage with the programme, highlighting the importance of early exposure to technology-driven learning. (DIPRO)
