ITANAGAR, Feb 19: A total of 395 beneficiaries availed healthcare services from free health check-up camps, organized at NIT Jote on January 24 and 31 and February 7 and 14.
Services provided in the health camps included general physical examinations, vital parameter assessments, medical consultations, health counselling, and blood tests such as Hepatitis-B screening and Complete Blood Count (CBC).
Organized by AHO in collaboration with the Medical Unit of the Institute, the programme was aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and early diagnosis of health diseases among the students and staff of the institute.
Speaking on the last day of the health camp, NIT Director Prof M Avare emphasized on the importance of physical and mental well-being alongside academic excellence.
