NFR extends Holi Spl train run to ensure hassle-free travel

MALIGAON, Feb 23: To clear the additional rush of passengers during the festive season, the services of four pairs of Holi special trains have been extended during February - March 2026, with train nos 07046/07047 (Secunderabad - Naharlagun - Secunderabad) and 03129/03130 (Kolkata Terminal - New Jalpaiguri - Kolkata Terminal) operating one additional trip each in both directions.

Train nos 09189/09190 (Mumbai Central - Katihar - Mumbai Central) operating six additional trips each in both directions and the weekly special train nos 04614/04613 (Amritsar - Katihar - Amritsar) operating three additional trips each in both directions. These trains will operate with the existing schedule of service, timings, composition and stoppages.

Train No 07046 (Secunderabad-Naharlagun) weekly special has been extended to run on 27th February, 2026, while in return direction, train no 07047 (Naharlagun -Secunderabad) weekly special has been extended to run on 2nd March, 2026.

Similarly, train no 03129 (Kolkata Terminal - New Jalpaiguri) weekly special has been extended to run on 28th February, 2026. In return direction, train no 03130 (New Jalpaiguri - Kolkata Terminal) weekly special has been extended to run on 1st March, 2026.

On the other hand, Train No 09189 (Mumbai Central–Katihar) which has been extended with effect from 21st February will continue to operate on every Saturday till 28th March, 2026. In return direction, train no 09190 (Katihar – Mumbai Central) weekly special has been extended to run from 24th February till 31st of March, 2026 on every Tuesday.

Similarly, train no 04614 (Amritsar - Katihar) weekly has been extended to run from 25th February till 5th of March, 2026 on every Wednesday. In return direction, train no 04613 (Katihar - Amritsar) weekly special has been extended to run from 27th February till 7th of March, 2026 on every Friday.

The extension of these train services will benefit waitlisted passengers on other trains operating along these routes. It will further improve connectivity between the Northeast, Eastern and Northern regions, ensuring smoother passenger movement and supporting regional integration and development.
