Pasighat, Feb 24: The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) - Arunachal Pradesh Unit, in collaboration with the ISA Pasighat City Branch, organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme in Pasighat on Tuesday.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr Komlo Tayeng. A felicitation ceremony was held to honour the founding members of the ISA-AP Unit — Dr Ani Siram (founding president), Dr Noyomi Saring (founding general secretary), and Dr Tailang Bumer (founding treasurer) — in recognition of their significant contributions to the organisation.
Senior medical professionals, including Dr Yater Ringu Darang, Joint DHS; Dr Yagling Perme, DMO East Siang; Dr Johnny Darang, DMO Siang; Dr Kabang Lego, retired DHS; Dr Rajen Kombo, Senior Anaesthetist; and Prof Sanyal, attended the programme along with doctors from various departments such as Surgery and Gynaecology.
In his keynote address, Dr Ani Siram, President of ISA-AP Unit, underscored the importance of academic initiatives like CMEs in advancing medical knowledge and ensuring excellence in patient care.
The CME featured discussions on relevant clinical topics, providing delegates from across Arunachal Pradesh an opportunity to update their knowledge and enhance professional skills. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Yamini Taloh.
