Vihangam Yog Akshar Foundation celebrates birth anniv of Bal Sant Akshar Deo Ji Maharaj

Likabali, Feb 28: The Vihangam Yog Akshar Foundation celebrated the auspicious birth anniversary of Param Pujya Bal Sant Shri Akshar Deo Ji Maharaj with devotion and enthusiasm at Karmi Abotani Vidya Niketan.

Marking the occasion, gifts and educational materials were distributed among underprivileged children, bringing smiles to young faces and reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to service and education.

Deputy Speaker of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Kardo Nyigyor, graced the ceremony as the chief guest. Among the special guests was Jarchok Buchi, general secretary of BJP, Lower Siang district. The programme was also attended by the Sub-Inspector of Likabali Police Station, ITBP officers, and Vedic Purohits of the Ashram.

During the programme, speakers highlighted the institution’s 100-year service legacy and the significance of the Swarved Mahamandir in Varanasi. Young disciples (Rishikumars) of the Vihangam Yog Gurukul welcomed the guests with Vedic chants, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

In his address, Deputy Speaker Nyigyor expressed appreciation for the foundation’s outreach in remote areas. “The efforts being made by the Akshar Foundation for children in remote areas are highly commendable. These school children come from backward sections of society, and such events not only provide them with financial support but also instill a sense of confidence that society stands firmly with them. This confluence of education and service under the guidance of saints is truly praiseworthy,” he said.

The celebration concluded with joyous chants of “Bal Sant Akshar Deo Ji Maharaj Ki Jai,” as children received their gifts amid an atmosphere filled with devotion and happiness.
