Itanagar, Mar 3: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) will conduct a five-day Jan Sunvai (public hearing programme) from March 9 to 13 next to address grievances of women across the State.
The hearings will be held at the APSCW office located at Papu Hill, Papunallah from 10.30 am onwards each day. Stakeholder departments, including members from the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and police personnel, will participate in the programme to facilitate effective redressal of complaints.
The Commission informed that women facing domestic violence or any form of atrocity may submit written complaints at the APSCW office. The public has been encouraged to attend the Jan Sunvai and bring relevant documents pertaining to their grievances to ensure speedy and effective resolution.
