SAD 2.0 camps conducted in L/Siang, Tawang

LIKABALI, Mar 6: Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp was successfully organized at Rotte under Koyu circle in Lower Siang district, bringing essential government services directly to the people of this remote area.

The programme was inaugurated by Koyu ZPM Nyachi Koyu, in presence of Ainstein Koyu (ADC), Dr M Kakki (AC Koyu), Tage Asha (CO Nari), and Henge Riba (DPO), along with other HoDs, officials, GBs, Panchayat members, and the general public.

Around 200–300 beneficiaries from Rotte and nearby villages attended the programme and availed various government services and welfare schemes. Several departments associated with public welfare participated in the camp, providing information, services, and on-the-spot assistance to the people.

Speaking on the occasion, the ZPM expressed gratitude to the government and the District Administration for organizing such an important programme in a remote area like Rotte, wherein people greatly benefited from direct access to government services. He also appreciated the efforts of all departments and officials for making the programme a success.

The Seva Aapke Dwar initiative aims to ensure last-mile delivery of government services and strengthen the connection between the administration and the public.

TAWANG: The District Administration Tawang successfully organized its 4th Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0 Camp today at Govt Sec School, Seru village, reaffirming its commitment to bringing essential government services directly to the doorstep of citizens.

The camp was graced by Deputy Commissioner Tawang Namgyal Angmo as chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Assistant Commissioners Tenzin Jambey and Sangey Wangmu Mosobi, JMFC Tawang Bompi Gapak, DMO Dr Thupten Lhamu, DHO Koncho Gyatso, CDPO Dondup Pema, Gaon Burah Seru Muchut Ngawang Thinlay, PRI members, and heads of various departments.

During the camp, villagers were sensitized about a range of government welfare schemes, with special emphasis on the installation and benefits of Smart Electricity Meters. A free medical check-up camp was conducted for residents, while a Jan Sunvai (public hearing) provided an open platform for villagers to directly share their concerns and grievances with the district administration.

As part of the outreach initiative, the Departments of Horticulture and Agriculture distributed hybrid vegetable seeds to villagers, while the Education Department provided science and sports kits to the GSS, Seru, to support learning and extracurricular development.

A total of 123 villagers from Seru, Muchut, Gormang, Nodo, Shazing, Kangteng, Teli, and nearby hamlets benefitted from the camp.

The initiative reflects the district administration’s continued focus on last-mile service delivery, responsive governance, and stronger community engagement.

Following the camp, the DC visited the Health and Wellness Centre at Seru and inspected a boundary wall constructed to protect agricultural fields from wild animals.

The wall was developed under MGNREGA in a phased manner from 2020 to 2024, safeguarding agricultural land across six villages in the area.

The DC was accompanied by AC-cum-Dy Director RD Jambey, DMO Dr Lhamu, BDO Lobsang Choidar, and officials from the Health and Rural Development Departments, Tawang. (DIPROs)
