Br MSME-DFO, Ita conducts EAP at Kheel in P/Pare dist

ITANAGAR, Mar 6: Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (Br MSME-DFO), Itanagar, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, in association with Niumhi Foundation, successfully organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) at the Community Hall, Kheel, Sagalee in Papum Pare district today.

Aimed at creating awareness among local youth about entrepreneurship opportunities and motivate them to start their own enterprises, the event commenced with a welcome speech and introduction of the EAP delivered by Aman Makkar, Young Professional, Branch MSME-DFO, Itanagar. In his address, Makkar highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship as a tool for self-employment and economic growth. He also briefed the participants about the objective of the programme and the support provided by the Ministry of MSME to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Satish Kumar, Assistant Director, Branch MSME-DFO, Itanagar, addressed the participants on various MSME schemes and activities being implemented by the Government of India. He elaborated on the role of MSMEs in the country’s economic development and encouraged the youth to take advantage of different schemes and support mechanisms available for setting up and expanding enterprises.

During the programme, Vijay Sehrawat, Assistant Director, Branch MSME-DFO, Itanagar, delivered a detailed session on Entrepreneurship Development, business idea generation, and MSME support mechanisms. He motivated the participants to identify local resources and opportunities and convert innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures. He also guided them on the initial steps involved in starting an enterprise.

Hinium Takung, Chairman Niumhi Foundation, addressed the participants on the importance of financial literacy and banking awareness. He explained the significance of financial planning, responsible borrowing, and the role of banking institutions in supporting entrepreneurs through various financial products and credit facilities.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth and aspiring entrepreneurs of Sagalee and nearby areas, who actively interacted with the speakers and expressed interest in exploring entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
