TEZU, Mar 10: Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 programme was successfully organized at Loiliang in Lohit district with the aim of bringing various government services directly at the doorstep of people.
The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, officials, and members of the public.
Speaking as chief guest on the occasion, Lohit Superintendent of Police Thutan Jamba highlighted the significance of initiatives like Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0, stating that such programmes strengthen the connection between the administration and the public by ensuring the delivery of services in the last mile. He encouraged people to actively participate in the programme and make “full” use of the facilities provided, including document-related services, health check-ups, and other essential government services made available during the initiative.
Lohit Deputy Commissioner K N Damo (guest of honour), in his address, emphasized the importance and objectives of the initiative and spoke about the continuous efforts of the district administration to ensure that government schemes and benefits reach people at the grassroots level.
The DC also highlighted the need to preserve local culture and traditions and encouraged the people to continue using their local dialects so that they can be safeguarded and passed on to future generations.
ZPM Baplalum Chiba, while addressing the gathering, urged the public to take full advantage of the SAD 2.0 initiative. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the DA Lohit for organizing such a meaningful initiative for the welfare of the public. He also appealed to the people to extend their cooperation and support to government officials and staff while they deliver services at the grassroots level. (DIPRO)
