Namsai, E/Siang bring ‘Seva’ to rural residents ‘Dwar’

NAMSAI, Mar 17: A Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp was successfully organized by the District Administration today at Govt Upper Primary School, Nongtaw Khamti with the objective of delivering essential government services and welfare schemes directly to the people.

Deputy Commissioner C R Khampa welcomed the villagers and encouraged them to avail various services and benefits being provided under the SAD initiative.

The programme was graced by Cheyapingya Khamhoo, ZPM 3 Ningroo, as chief guest, in presence of HoOs and Gaon Burahs.

Addressing the gathering, the ZPM stated that the initiative aims to bring government services closer to the public and enable them avail benefits of various State and Central government schemes such as ANBY, ANPY, MIDH, CMAAY, PM-JAY, ANMPY and PMMSY.

CO Piyong emphasized that Seva Aapke Dwar ensures effective delivery of government schemes at the grassroots level.

The camp witnessed participation from several departments including Transport, Aadhaar Enrolment, ICDS, Disaster Management, Fisheries, Veterinary, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Textiles & Handicrafts, ArSRLM, PHE & WSD, Labour & Employment, PHED, Police, APEDA and Education.

During the camp, first-aid kits were distributed to the GBs and the school headmaster by the ZPM. Soil Health Cards were also distributed to the beneficiaries.

PASIGHAT: East Siang District Administration organized its 9th Seva Aapke Dwar (SAD) 2.0 camp at Govt Secondary School, Ngorlung under Ruksin sub-division and delivered several on spot services of various government departments, benefiting altogether 319 residents of Ngorlung and Rallung villages and nearby areas.

The camp was inaugurated by ZPM Ruksin-03 Miti Dai Paron, in presence of Assistant Commissioner Ruksin John Modi, GPC Rallung2 Ogul Libang, GPC Ngorlung1 Api Modi, GBs, and PRI members.

As many as 20 government departments extended their services during the outreach camp bringing them at their doorstep. (DIPROs)
