Itanagar, Mar 18: The 4th sitting of the Committee on Government Assurances (GAC) of the 8th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh was held at the Conference Hall of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Laisam Simai, MLA.
The Committee reviewed various assurances made by the Government on the floor of the House and examined the status of their implementation by the concerned departments.
Emphasizing accountability, the Committee stressed the need for timely action and effective follow-up to ensure that commitments made before the Legislature are fulfilled promptly.
Among the members present were Pasang Dorjee Sona, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Rotom Tebin, and Tsering Lhamu.
Officers from the Assembly Secretariat who attended the meeting included Tadar Meena, Secretary; Agaab Mossang, Additional Secretary; and Kheto Lowang, Under Secretary.
