ITANAGAR, Mar 19: Education Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona has on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the Teachers’ Registry Portal (TRP) with the department’s technical team, stressing its crucial role in ensuring transparent and merit-based transfers and postings.
The Minister said the TRP is a key digital initiative for implementing the Arunachal Pradesh Transfer and Posting of Employees of the Education Department (Regulation and Management) Bill passed in the last Assembly session, enabling a system-driven process of transfers/postings.
Expressing concern over the low rate of self-login and data updation by teachers despite repeated reminders, Sona held discussions with Deputy Directors of School Education (DDSEs) from districts showing poor compliance and directed immediate corrective measures.
He instructed all DDSEs to ensure 100 percent login and complete profile updation within 10 days, warning that districts with unsatisfactory performance would be placed under close review and face administrative action to ensure accountability.
The Minister informed that from the academic session 2026–27, all teacher transfers and postings will be processed strictly through the TRP. He urged all teachers to promptly complete their profiles to facilitate efficient, transparent and accountable teacher management across the state.
