ITANAGAR, Mar 27: The All Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Parishad (AAPPP) convened a coordination meeting of Zilla Parishad Chairpersons (ZPCs) and Zilla Parishad Members (ZPMs) at a city hotel here on Friday, marking a significant step towards strengthening coordination and collective decision-making among Panchayati Raj representatives across the state.
ZPCs and ZPMs from various districts actively participated in the session, deliberating on key issues related to rural governance, development, and institutional cooperation. The formation of the AAPPP, along with the election of its president Tagru Kasha, ZPC, Kra-Daadi, is expected to provide a unified platform to effectively address grassroots concerns.
Speaking to reporters, Kasha said his priority would be to listen to the issues faced by Panchayat leaders and present them collectively before the state government, irrespective of political affiliations.
He also emphasized the importance of building a strong and cohesive body to work towards overall development of grassroots institutions and rural communities across Arunachal Pradesh.
