KHONSA, Apr 2: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Deomali successfully conducted a training programme on scientific methods of orange cultivation for farmers of Huakan village in Tirap district.
The programme began with a warm welcome and felicitation of the guest scientists by Chief of Huakan village, Kamwang Lowang, on behalf of the village community.
The technical session was led by Dr Narendra Kumar along with Arvind Pratap Singh, who provided detailed guidance on modern orange plantation techniques, best practices, orchard management, and sustainable farming methods.
The programme was further enriched by an inspiring ‘margdarshan’ address delivered by Chasom Hakhun.
Such initiatives by KVK Deomali continue to empower farmers with knowledge and skills to enhance productivity and adopt scientific farming practices. (DIPRO)
