Arunachal’s GSDP growth reflects strong economic momentum: Mein

Itanagar, Apr 3: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Friday said Arunachal Pradesh continues to witness a strong and steady economic growth trajectory, with significant rise in its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).

He informed that the GSDP for the financial year 2025–26 stood at Rs 41,314 crore, while projections for 2026–27 place it at Rs 50,651 crore, as per the latest communication from the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Highlighting the growth trend, Mein said the increase reflects the effectiveness of the state’s development policies, improved fiscal management, and sustained momentum across key sectors of the economy.

He emphasised that the government remains committed to accelerating inclusive growth, strengthening infrastructure, and enhancing livelihood opportunities for the people.

Reaffirming the state’s vision, the Deputy Chief Minister said efforts will continue towards building a resilient and self-reliant economy, ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society.
