DAPORIJO, Apr 3: Residents and stakeholders of the Dumporijo constituency have resolved to transform the town into a clean and hygienic place during a coordination meeting chaired by MLA Rode Bui.
The meeting brought together heads of departments, Panchayat leaders, Bazar Committee members, and representatives of various stakeholder groups to deliberate on key civic and social issues.
Cleanliness and sanitation emerged as major focus area, with participants stressing the need for sustained efforts to maintain hygiene and undertake beautification initiatives to improve the town’s overall appearance.
Law and order issues were also discussed, particularly concerns related to drug abuse. Officials and community leaders emphasized coordinated action to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents.
The meeting further highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, with a strong push for tree plantation drives across the constituency.
