ITANAGAR, Apr 3: With the country’s defence sector reaching new horizons through a tremendous growth in the just ended financial year (2025-26), Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has phrased the phenomenal rise as a “global success”.
In his social media post, the Dy CM said: “From strength to strategy, India’s defence story is scaling globally.”
He went on to elucidate, saying: “Defence exports achieved a record high in 2025–26, marking a major milestone in self-reliance and global outreach. With exports to over 100 countries, including the USA, France and Armenia, India is emerging as a trusted partner, driving security, innovation and stronger international collaborations.”
