Two ZPMs from NPP join BJP, boosting party base in Upper Subansiri

Itanagar, Apr 7: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arunachal Pradesh, on Tuesday welcomed two Zilla Parishad Members (ZPMs)—Bimpi Lomi Nyorak and Majay Mara—who joined the party from the National People's Party (NPP) during a formal programme attended by senior leaders.

Both leaders, hailing from Upper Subansiri district, were inducted into the party in the presence of BJP state president Kaling Moyong, who extended a warm welcome and expressed confidence that their inclusion would further strengthen the party’s grassroots presence and organisational structure in the district and across the state.

The programme was also attended by Minister Nyato Dukam, MLA Topin Ete, party vice president Dunggoli Libang, and general secretary Tadar Niglar, along with senior office bearers and party workers.

Speaking on the occasion, party leaders said the decision of the ZPMs to join the BJP reflects their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people-centric governance of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Reaffirming its commitment to inclusive development, the BJP Arunachal Pradesh stated that the party would continue working with renewed energy towards achieving the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas” for a stronger and developed Arunachal Pradesh.
