ITANAGAR, Apr 12: 6th Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate do-Association (APAKA) Sub-Junior, Cadet & Junior Karate Championship 2026 concluded at the Niki Karate Academy here.
The two-day event witnessed the presence of 207 participants from 16 districts of the State, accompanied by district managers, coaches and executive members of district associations.
IMC Corporater (Ward No 7) Kabak Sumpa, the chief guest, in her motivational speech, called for becoming a good human being to serve the society even if one is a good sportsperson. She emphasized the players should be motivated in academic activities and excel in the profession so that they can avail the benefit of the state government in their respective discipline, as a meritorious sportspersons.
She also appealed to one and all to help, support and cooperate with the IMC in maintaining Itanagar Capital Complex as a clean, hygienic and beautiful place to live in.
APAKA president Yarda Niki exhorted the players to remain attached with games and sports to live healthy, fit and fine and disease free.
