Annual Job Fair 2026 draws strong response

Itanagar, Apr 16: The Annual Job Fair 2026, organised by the Department of Youth Affairs, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, witnessed an encouraging response, marking a significant step towards enhancing employment opportunities for the state’s youth.

The event commenced on April 13 at Bomdila in the presence of Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs Kento Jini. The inaugural session saw enthusiastic participation from both organisations and job seekers, setting a positive tone for the initiative.

The second phase, held on April 15 in Itanagar, was attended by Forest & Environment, Geology & Mining, and DoTCL Minister Wangki Lowang. Sports & Youth Affairs Secretary Abu Tayeng was also present, underscoring the government’s commitment to youth empowerment.

Both venues recorded a significant turnout, with active engagement between employers and aspiring candidates. The fair facilitated career counselling, interactions, and recruitment opportunities, with several candidates securing jobs on the spot—highlighting the initiative’s effectiveness in bridging the gap between talent and employment.

The next phase of the Annual Job Fair 2026 is scheduled to be held on April 17 at General Ground, Roing, continuing efforts to bring employment opportunities closer to youth across the region.
