Thrizino, Apr 16: The training programme for Enumerators and Supervisors under Thrizino Circle commenced at the ADC’s Conference Hall here on Thursday, marking a key step towards the smooth conduct of Census 2027.
Addressing the trainees, Thrizino Circle Officer-cum-Charge Officer Dr Tashi Dorjee Bapu provided a comprehensive briefing on their roles and responsibilities, along with the legal provisions governing the census process. He emphasised strict adherence to prescribed procedures and the importance of accuracy in data collection.
The ADC-cum-Sub-Divisional Census Officer also urged the participants to remain attentive and actively engage in the sessions, highlighting the significance of the national exercise and the need for a smooth, efficient, and error-free enumeration process.
Field trainers conducted detailed sessions on various aspects of census operations, including houselisting activities, the self-enumeration process, and the use of the HLO mobile application. Practical demonstrations were also held to equip trainees with the necessary skills for effective field implementation.
During the programme, enumerators and supervisors were handed over their Houselisting Block (HLB) allocation orders by the ADC, formally assigning their respective areas of work. (DIPRO)
