Itanagar, Apr 16: A total of 75 students from various schools across Shi Yomi district successfully completed a Calligraphy & Handwriting Improvement Course conducted at GHSS Mechukha from April 11 to 16.
Education Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona attended the certificate distribution ceremony and lauded the students for their dedication in embracing the importance of good handwriting.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister emphasized that neat, clear, and legible handwriting—along with writing speed—continues to play a crucial role in academic performance and long-term career growth. He encouraged students to maintain consistency and discipline in their writing habits.
The course was conducted by NE Unique Calligraphy & Handwriting in collaboration with the Department of Education, Shi Yomi district. It aimed to enhance students’ handwriting skills while boosting their confidence and focus.
Sona expressed satisfaction over the initiative, describing it as a unique and impactful programme in government schools. He noted that such efforts contribute significantly to the overall development of students and help instill discipline and self-improvement among young learners.
