CHAYANG TAJO, Apr 16: Phase-I training of Enumerators and Supervisors for the House Listing and Housing Census under Census 2027 commenced at Chayang Tajo ADC Headquarters in East Kameng district.
The three-day training programme from April 15 to 17 aims to equip field personnel from both rural and urban areas with the necessary skills for accurate and efficient data collection.
The sessions are being conducted by trained field trainers under the supervision of the Charge Census Officer, focusing on systematic capacity building and preparedness of enumerators and supervisors.
Participants were also encouraged to actively facilitate the self-enumeration process, which is set to be carried out from April 16 to 30, 2026.
Officials emphasized the importance of teamwork, inclusiveness, and accuracy, noting that the success of the Census exercise depends on coordinated efforts at all levels of implementation. (DIPRO)
