LIKABALI, Apr 23: Lower Siang Deputy Commissioner Gobi Nyicyor-led team conducted a comprehensive joint inspection of rehabilitation facilities in Likabali today to review the operational standards and ensure adherence to prescribed guidelines.
The DC-led inspection team, which also comprised Superintendent of Police Bomken Basar and District Medical Officer Dr Nyage Geyi, visited the Siang Rehabilitation Centre, Sober Rehabilitation Centre and New Life Serenity Nexus Rehab Centre.
During the inspection, the team carried out a thorough assessment of each facility, focusing on infrastructure, living conditions, medical records, and administrative documentation. The objective was to verify strict compliance with government Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure that all health and safety norms are being properly followed.
Officials also engaged in direct interactions with the staff members and individuals undergoing rehabilitation to gain firsthand insight into the quality of care and services being provided.
The inspection reflects the district administration’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards across rehabilitation centres and ensuring that such institutions offer a safe, supportive, and well-regulated environment conducive to effective recovery and successful reintegration into society.
