ITANAGAR, Apr 28: Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul took stock of the ongoing construction of 2 MW Ampani Hydropower Project at Hayuliang village in Anjaw district, and directed officials to ensure timely completion while maintaining high quality standards.
The project was announced during the Cabinet Aapke Dwar programme at Kibithoo in May 2025.
In a social media post, Dasanglu, who is also the local MLA, said the project’s steady progress reflects the government’s commitment to delivering development at people’s doorsteps. She noted that seeing the initiative take shape brings a sense of satisfaction.
Once commissioned, the project is expected to significantly meet the power requirements of the Hayuliang circle, strengthening local infrastructure and improving quality of life in the region, she said.
The Minister also thanked landowners for their cooperation and support in facilitating the project.
Dasanglu was accompanied by Hayuliang Additional Deputy Commissioner Julity Mihu, Anjaw SP Anurag Dwivedi, executive engineer Hydro Power Development H Tagi, and Hayuliang-Goiliang ZPM Mantaw Bellai.
