TUTING, Apr 28: In a bid to inspire the youth of remote border regions, the Indian Army organised a ‘Join the Indian Army Campaign’ in Tuting under Project Navbharat.
The motivational session was conducted by troops of the Spearhead Division under the Spear Corps for students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tuting, aiming to guide them towards purposeful careers rooted in discipline, leadership, and service to the nation.
During the session, Army personnel created awareness about various entry avenues into the Armed Forces, detailing eligibility criteria, selection procedures, and the importance of early preparation. They also highlighted the core values of a soldier, including resilience, integrity, courage, and selfless commitment to national duty.
Students actively participated in the interactive programme, asking questions and sharing their aspirations. The troops shared personal experiences and real-life insights, offering a deeper understanding of the challenges and pride associated with life in uniform.
The interaction further emphasised character-building, teamwork, leadership, and the importance of making informed career choices. Special focus was laid on physical fitness, mental resilience, and academic excellence as essential pillars for success.
