L/Siang meets for smooth conduct of Census 2027 exercise

LIKABALI, Apr 30: A coordination meeting regarding Census 2027 was held at the DC’s office conference hall here today.

Organized by the Office of the Sub-Divisional Census Officer, Likabali circle, under the leadership of SDCO Jannes Mary Tayeng, the meeting was aimed at ensuring effective planning, coordination, and smooth conduct of the upcoming Census operations.

The meeting was attended by Karbi Nyudo Taipodia, ZPM Likabali, all GPCs under Likabali circle, enumerators and supervisors, as well as all Head Gaon Burahs and Gaon Burahs of the circle.

Deliberations during the meeting focused on preparedness, clearly defining roles and responsibilities, and strengthening coordination among various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Census 2027 in the district.

Addressing the gathering, SDCO Tayeng urged all enumerators and supervisors to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, emphasizing that correct data is crucial for planning and development. She also appealed to PRI members to extend full cooperation to enumerators during household visits.

The ZPM, in his address, called upon the public of Likabali circle to provide correct and complete information during the Census, highlighting its importance for overall development and effective governance.

Dakken Riba, field trainer, conducted a technical session for enumerators and supervisors, providing detailed guidance on enumeration procedures and data collection methods to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

All concerned stakeholders were urged to actively participate and contribute towards the successful execution of this important national exercise. (DIPRO)
