Siang Trust organizes free health camp for pensioners & Sr citizens in Pasighat

Itanagar, May 3: Siang Trust organised a free health camp for service pensioners and senior citizens at Lamrung Gangging in Pasighat, East Siang district, providing much-needed medical services to the local community.

A total of 90 patients, including senior citizens, were examined during the camp. Free medical services such as blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, and HbA1c tests were provided, along with the distribution of free medicines.

A team of specialist doctors participated in the camp, including ENT specialist Dr Bolut Taki, eye specialist Dr Beauty Borang Perme, surgical specialist Dr Bomni Tayeng, orthopedic surgeon Dr Tiyang Taga, medical specialist Dr Doni Rattan, and dental surgeon Dr Togram Tabing. Retired Additional Directors of Health Services Dr Saibal Bhattacharjee and Dr Runi Tasung, along with medical staff and support teams, also contributed to the initiative.

The camp was led by Siang Trust president Group Captain (Retd) Mohonto Panging Pao with active support from members and representatives of the organisation. The secretary and members of the Service Pensioners Association, East Siang Branch, as well as local residents of Lamrung Gangging, also assisted in organising the programme.
