Khandu, Mein hail BJP’s polls victory in West Bengal, Assam, Puducherry

Itanagar, May 4: Senior BJP leader and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his Deputy Chowna Mein have congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party on its impressive electoral victories in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry.

Addressing party members during a programme at the BJP State headquarters in Itanagar, Khandu described the results as a reflection of people’s faith in development, good governance, and a self-reliant India. He attributed the success to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President Nitin Nabin.

The Chief Minister said the decisive mandate underscores the aspirations of people for progress, stability, and strong governance, and extended his appreciation to voters in the three states for their support.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also congratulated the BJP on what he termed a historic victory, particularly in West Bengal. He extended his greetings to State BJP President Samik Bhattacharya and party workers for the achievement.

Highlighting the outcome in Assam, Mein noted that the BJP’s return to power with a clear majority reflects public endorsement of development-oriented governance and welfare initiatives under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Both leaders have expressed confidence that the renewed mandate would further strengthen governance and accelerate development, while wishing continued success to the leadership in serving the people.
