Gobuk, May 4: The third edition of the Siang Biodiversity Meet commenced at Gobuk on Sunday, bringing together nature enthusiasts, conservationists, and local communities to celebrate and protect the region’s rich ecological heritage.
The event was inaugurated by Upper Siang Deputy Commissioner Talo Jerang. Key highlights of the event included the launch of the website Gorgeousgobuk.in, release of the book ‘The Guardian of Gobuk’, unveiling of a biodiversity trail map, and the ‘Journal of Green School’.
The Meet aims to promote environmental conservation, sustainable tourism, and community participation, while showcasing the unique ecological and cultural richness of the Siang region. (DIPRO)
