Assam Rifles conducts outreach on Op Sindoor ‘anniv’ at Wakka

ITANAGAR, May 5: As part of the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor (which falls on May 7), an outreach programme was organized by the Assam Rifles at Wakka town in Longding district.

The event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation of approximately 60 students along with their parents, ensuring meaningful community engagement, aimed to enhance awareness on national security, highlight the role of the Armed Forces, and emphasize the significance of Op Sindoor.

The event, which included interactive sessions, a motivational address and dissemination of informative material designed to instill patriotism, discipline and national pride among the youth, was conducted in a well-coordinated manner and successfully achieved its objective of strengthening civil-military relations while fostering goodwill among the local populace.

The enthusiastic response from students and parents reflected a positive impact and reinforced trust in the security forces. Overall, the initiative effectively promoted the “Nation First” ethos and inspired young minds towards constructive nation-building.
