DC inspects development projects in Kombo circle

AALO, May 9: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Mindo Loyi has conducted an inspection of various Central and State flagship schemes under Kombo circle to review the progress and implementation status of ongoing developmental projects.

During the visit, the DC inspected works being executed in different areas of the circle and assessed their ground-level implementation. At Tadin village, he interacted with PRI leaders, Gaon Burahs and the public at the community hall, where he stressed that implementing agencies must ensure quality execution of all developmental works without compromise.

He also directed the Deputy Director of Rural Development, West Siang, to ensure timely uploading of work progress reports on the government portal. Highlighting the importance of the upcoming House Listing Census 2027, the DC urged villagers to provide accurate information to enumerators during the survey process.

Later, in his capacity as Chairman of PM SHRI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kombo Tarsu, Loyi visited the school campus and held discussions with the Principal Ashis Rana.

The Principal informed that the school achieved a 100 percent pass result in the CBSE examinations 2026. He also briefed the DC on the ongoing construction of the school boundary wall and other infrastructure-related works being carried out at the campus.

The DC was accompanied by ZPM Kombo Kenjar Ngomdir Lollen, Assistant Commissioner-cum-Deputy Director (RD) Jumkar Karbi, Circle Officer Kombo Eken Bam, along with engineers, PRI members and other officials. (DIPRO)
