NAMSAI, May 20: A two-day district-level training programme under the nationwide Pandit Deendayal Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026 for Anjaw, Lohit and Namsai districts commenced at the Multipurpose Hall here on Wednesday. The programme is being organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party Arunachal Pradesh unit.
Addressing the inaugural session, Uttar Pradesh MP Shashank Mani Tripathi highlighted the importance of training party workers and said such programmes help in human resource development and strengthening adherence to party ideology.
He said disciplined and ideologically driven karyakartas are essential for building a strong organisation, which in turn contributes to the development of both the state and the nation.
Tripathi further stated that the BJP stands apart due to its karyakarta-based structure and commitment to nation-building through dedicated grassroots workers. He said the training campaign aims to strengthen ideological clarity, leadership qualities and organisational skills among party members.
He also noted that the programme familiarizes party workers with various Govt schemes, policies and programmes so they can help people avail the benefits of welfare initiatives.
Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein said the last 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have witnessed rapid development across the Northeast, including Arunachal Pradesh, in sectors such as roads, communication, infrastructure and budgetary growth.
He said reforms and transformation achieved during this period were unprecedented and credited dedicated party training and organisational strengthening for the progress.
Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao urged party workers to sincerely participate in the training programme and understand the ideology and philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya to further strengthen the party and serve the public effectively.
Among others present were MLAs Zingnu Namchoom and Tojir Kadu, BJP State Vice President and training convenor Ashok Sangchuju, BJP State General Secretary Junty Singpho, along with several state office bearers and senior party karyakartas serving as resource persons during the training programme.
