Rupa Bayor crowns glory at Int’l event; CM, Dy CM hail the feat

ITANAGAR, May 22: Continuing her tremendous run, ace Indian athlete from Arunachal Pradesh - Rupa Bayor, who had earlier won a bronze medal at the 9th Asian Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2026, has further added a feather to her cap by emerging as the winner of Best Female Fighting Spirit Award at the championships’ curtains were drawn.

Reacting to Bayor making further inroads in her extraordinary career, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein have commended the daughter of the soil for her superlative showing.
