Nischals Portable & Microscale Science Lab inaugurated at Abotani Vidya Niketan

Naharlagun, Jun 1: Abotani Vidya Niketan, Pachin Kamak Nagar, Naharlagun, under the aegis of the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS), received the Nischals Portable & Microscale Science Lab for students of Classes I to X, marking a significant milestone in promoting experiential, activity-based, and hands-on science education.

The Science Lab was formally inaugurated by Nischal Narayanam, widely recognized as India's youngest Chartered Accountant and the world's youngest double Guinness World Record holder in memory, in the presence of APEDA Chairman Taba Tedir. The programme was attended by several distinguished guests, including VBABSS organising secretary Gobinda Chandra Mahanta & vice president D Ramakrishna Rao, and ASVS secretary Tumge Lollen.

Speaking on the occasion, Nischal Narayanam expressed his delight at visiting Arunachal Pradesh, popularly known as the "Land of the Rising Sun." He praised the state's scenic beauty, rich natural landscape, and vibrant youth population. Encouraging students to embrace scientific thinking, curiosity, innovation, and excellence, he emphasized the importance of developing a scientific temperament from an early age.

The dignitaries highlighted the importance of practical science education in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students. They commended the efforts of Abotani Vidya Niketan and the ASVS in promoting quality education and creating opportunities for experiential learning.

The ASVS expressed gratitude to Narayanam for inaugurating the laboratory and for his contribution towards making science education more innovative, practical, and accessible.

The newly inaugurated Nischals Portable & Microscale Science Lab is expected to provide students with enhanced opportunities for scientific exploration, experimentation, and hands-on learning, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic and quality education.
