ITANAGAR, Jun 11: The BJP Keyi Panyor district unit, in collaboration with the party's Yachuli Mandal, on Thursday celebrated the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led Central Government over the past 12 years and nine years of governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
The programme, held at Potin General Ground, was attended by party leaders, karyakartas and a large number of local residents.
Addressing the gathering, BJP state executive member Likha Maaj highlighted the transformative development initiatives undertaken by both the Central and State Governments. He said Arunachal Pradesh has witnessed unprecedented progress in infrastructure, connectivity and welfare sectors over the last decade.
Maaj cited the establishment of the Donyi Polo Airport at Hollongi, the ongoing construction of the Frontier Highway and various centrally sponsored projects as examples of the Central government's commitment to the development of Arunachal Pradesh.
He stated that substantial investments have been made in infrastructure development, road connectivity, education, healthcare and public welfare programmes across the state.
Praising the Khandu government, Maaj said the creation of Keyi Panyor district and the establishment of administrative offices and public facilities in the region have strengthened governance and brought government services closer to the people.
He further noted that the state government has continued to prioritise the development of Yachuli Assembly constituency by ensuring adequate representation and support for developmental activities in the area.
The programme highlighted achievements in infrastructure, welfare, education, healthcare, connectivity and good governance, while reaffirming the BJP's commitment to public service and the overall progress of Arunachal Pradesh.
Among those present were Sports Authority of Arunachal Chairman John Neelam, BJP ST Morcha president-cum-convenor Khoda Apo, ZPM Neelam Richo and other party leaders.
