NAMSAI, Jun 18: Namsai Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (DEO) C R Khampa had a review meeting with all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) under 47-Namsai (ST) Assembly Constituency on the distribution of enumeration forms for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, which was held at the DC’s conference hall here today.
During the meeting, the DC-cum-DEO along with the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Namsai briefed the BLOs on the procedures and guidelines for the distribution of enumeration forms and emphasized the importance of carrying out the exercise efficiently and within the stipulated timeline.
The officers stressed the need for accuracy, transparency, and proper verification during the revision process to ensure that all eligible electors are covered and the electoral roll remains updated and error-free. BLOs were also instructed to coordinate effectively and ensure smooth implementation of the exercise across their respective polling areas.
The meeting concluded with directions to all BLOs to discharge their responsibilities diligently for successful completion of the revision exercise. (DIPRO)
