ITANAGAR, Jun 20: Joining the nationwide campaign on ‘12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare’ aimed at ensuring the effective outreach and saturation of welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes of the Central and State government, the Jan Kalyan Shivir was carried out across the State in a befitting way today.
PASIGHAT: A district level Jan Kalyan Shivir themed ‘12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare’, with a special focus on Natural Farming, was organised at the DC’s conference hall here today.
The programme aimed to create awareness among farmers and the general public about the benefits of natural farming, integrated farming systems, soil health management, value addition, livelihood opportunities, and various government welfare schemes available for public benefit.
The event served as a platform for interaction between farmers, government officials, and concerned departments, with an emphasis on promoting sustainable agricultural practices and improving access to government services. Various departments set up stalls and help desks to disseminate information, register beneficiaries, address grievances, and facilitate the delivery of services under their respective schemes.
Special emphasis was given to flagship welfare programmes, including Ayushman Bharat, Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana, PM Surya Ghar, PM SVANidhi, Lakhpati Didi, Viksit Bharat–Guaranteed Employment and Livelihood Mission (Gramin), along with other State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
Departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, and Fisheries, among others, showcased activities and initiatives related to natural farming and allied sectors.
The participating departments displayed IEC materials, posters, banners, pamphlets, and demonstration materials to educate visitors about various government schemes, modern farming techniques, and livelihood opportunities.
The Jan Kalyan Shivir highlighted the government’s commitment to inclusive development, farmer welfare, and the promotion of environmentally sustainable agricultural practices through awareness generation, capacity building, and effective delivery of welfare schemes.
The programme was attended by ADC (i/c) DC Pebika Lego, MLA Ninong Ering, ZPC Ruth Tabing, ZPMs of East Siang, officials from various departments, farmers, and members of the public.
BOLENG: As part of the nationwide celebration marking 12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare, a Jan Kalyan Shivir was successfully organized today at Unying-Aran Hall here under the aegis of the District Administration, Siang.
The programme, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from government departments, PRI members, community leaders and a large number of beneficiaries from across the district, was graced by Ojing Tasing, Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Transport and Cooperation.
16 departments and allied agencies participated in the programme and provided on-the-spot services, registration facilities, awareness campaigns and beneficiary-oriented assistance.
During the programme, the Health Department conducted health screening services including hypertension and diabetes screening, oral and breast cancer screening, PMJAY and ABHA registration, blood investigations and other health-related services.
A special highlight of the event was the Mega Free Eye Check-Up Camp, which received an overwhelming response from the public and benefited a large number of residents.
The Agriculture and Horticulture Departments disseminated information on PM Kisan, SMAM, PMKSY, MIDH, RKVY and other farmer-centric schemes while promoting natural farming practices. The RD Dept created awareness on PMAY-G and other flagship rural development programmes.
The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) facilitated CMAAY registration, showcased products of SHGs and PMFME beneficiaries, organized the sale of vermicompost and carried out registration for identification of potential Lakhpati Didis.
Among others, the Election Department sensitized citizens on the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), use of the ECI Net App and electoral enumeration procedures. The Police Department conducted awareness programmes on drug abuse prevention.
The Jan Kalyan Shivir reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring last-mile delivery of services and strengthening public outreach through citizen-centric governance.
DAPORIJO: The District Administration, Upper Subansiri successfully organized a Jan Kalyan Shivir at the Govt Sec School, Sippi, with the objective of bringing government welfare schemes and essential services closer to the people.
Gracing the programme, local MLA Tania Soki highlighted the achievements and welfare initiatives of the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stressed the importance of effective implementation of government schemes and expressed concern over the absence of certain Heads of Departments (HoDs), warning that appropriate action would be recommended against officials who failed to attend the important public outreach programme without valid reasons.
Speaking on the occasion, Jhony Yoka, Agricultural Development Officer, Daporijo, highlighted the importance of natural farming and provided an introduction to the Jan Kalyan Shivir and its objectives.
Tama Nirin, president District BJP Upper Subansiri, appreciated the efforts of the District Administration in organizing the outreach programme and urged citizens to take full advantage of the government schemes being offered.
Addressing the gathering, Tasso Gambo, Deputy Commissioner Upper Subansiri, emphasized the importance of natural farming as a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to agriculture. He encouraged farmers to adopt natural farming practices and reiterated the administration's commitment to ensuring last-mile delivery of government services.
During the Shivir, various government departments provided awareness programmes, grievance redressal support, and registration facilities under different flagship schemes, benefiting a large number of citizens.
BOMDILA: As part of the GoAP’s initiative commemorating ‘12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare’, the District Administration, West Kameng organised a Jan KalyanShivir here today, envisaged on the lines of Sarkar Aapke Dwar, with a special focus on natural farming, public welfare schemes and citizen-centric service delivery.
The Shivir brought multiple government departments onto a common platform to enhance public access to welfare schemes and essential services. Facilitation and awareness stalls were set up by the Departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Veterinary, Health, Social Justice, Empowerment & Tribal Affairs (SJETA), Rural Development, Panchayat Department, Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM), Urban Development, Industries and other departments. Officials provided information, guidance and assistance on various Central and State Government schemes.
A dedicated Voter Education and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Information Stall was established by the Election Branch with active participation of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), creating awareness on voter registration, correction and updation of electoral details, while encouraging citizens to participate in maintaining an accurate and inclusive electoral roll.
The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) also displayed disaster response and rescue equipment and sensitised visitors on preparedness measures and emergency response during natural calamities.
Adding vibrancy to the event, Self Help Groups (SHGs) from across the district showcased and sold locally produced products, highlighting rural entrepreneurship and the contribution of SHGs towards livelihood generation and self-reliance.
As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, awareness activities were conducted jointly by the District Administration and West Kameng Police to educate the public, particularly youth, on the harmful effects of substance abuse and the need for collective action towards a healthier and drug-free society.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner West Kameng Dr Dilip Kumar highlighted the Jan Kalyan Shivir as an effective platform for taking government services closer to the people and ensuring wider outreach of welfare benefits. Emphasizing the theme of natural farming, he encouraged farmers to adopt sustainable and environmentally responsible agricultural practices for long-term ecological and economic gains.
He further urged citizens to actively support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and participate wholeheartedly in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls, noting that public participation remains essential for building a drug-free society and ensuring a clean and error-free electoral roll.
BASAR: In compliance with Government directives and as part of the nationwide celebration marking 12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare, the District Administration, Leparada organised a Jan Kalyan Shivir at Govt Upper Primary School (GUPS), Gori village with a special focus on flagship initiatives such as natural farming, Ayushman Bharat /Ayushman Vay Vandhana, Viksit Bharat Gram (VBG), PM Surya Ghar Yojana, PM SVANidhi and Lakhpati Didi, alongside other central and state sponsored schemes.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Iter Bam, ZPM (11-A Basar), in presence of Heads of Departments, PRI members and other attendees.
In her address, she urged the people to make optimum use of various services and benefits brought to their doorstep through the camp. She also called upon the government departments to extend all necessary support to the public and emphasized the importance of creating greater awareness about various welfare schemes so that beneficiaries may avail themselves of maximum benefits.
The day-long programme was also attended by local MLA Nyabi Jini Dirchi, who reviewed the services being provided by different departments.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA underscored the importance of natural farming as a means to achieve self-sustainability and food security. Elaborating on her vision for Leparada district, she emphasized the need for attaining self-reliance in meeting local requirements of agricultural, horticultural, poultry and fisheries products through indigenous production systems. She observed that such an approach would not only strengthen the local economy but also promote healthier food habits through organic and sustainable farming practices. She further highlighted tourism as a promising sector with immense potential for economic growth and livelihood generation in the district.
Earlier, S K Pandey, Sr Scientist-ICAR Basar centre, sensitized the farmers on the importance of organic and natural farming practices. He elaborated on the significance of ‘Khet Bachao Abhiyan’, advocated judicious and balanced use of fertilizers, and stressed the need for conserving soil health to ensure sustainable agricultural productivity and long-term food security.
Various departments set up stalls and delivered on-the-spot services and awareness activities, enabling the public to access government schemes and welfare benefits under a single platform.

ZIRO: In a major push to bring essential public services directly to the people, the Lower Subansiri District Administration successfully conducted a comprehensive Jan Kalyan Shivir (People's Welfare Camp), celebrating ‘12 Years of Trust, Development & Public Welfare’, the single-day event took place at the Govt Sec School, Hari.
Modeled after the highly successful ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ (Service at Your Doorstep) initiative, the camp was designed to cut through bureaucratic red tape. Instead of citizens traveling to distant government offices, heads of various departments set up dedicated help desks on-site to provide immediate services, information, and on-the-spot enrollment.
The camp placed a special emphasis on supporting local agriculture through natural farming awareness, alongside a major drive that enrolled residents in critical state and central government welfare schemes.
During the preparations and execution of the event, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Hage Tarung worked alongside the administrative team to ensure seamless coordination among the various line departments.
Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme noted that all concerned departments were directed to ensure active participation, set up responsive registration desks, and deliver the required services and information directly to our citizens.
Residents who attended the camp gained direct access to registration and support for several life-changing programs, including healthcare security through Ayushman Bharat and AyushmanVay Vandana medical coverage, clean energy guidance for the PM Surya Ghar solar initiative, and financial empowerment resources via PM SVANidhi and Lakhpati Didi.
Attendees also received direct access to natural farming resources and miscellaneous state-sponsored welfare benefits.
YAZALI, Government services came directly to the doorsteps of local families as the Keyi Panyor District Administration hosted a vibrant, community-focused Jan Kalyan Shivir at the Yazali school auditorium. Part of a state-wide celebration marking "12 Years of Trust, Development & Public Welfare," the single-day event was designed entirely around making life easier for everyday citizens by cutting through bureaucratic red tape.
The day focused heavily on empowering local farmers with natural farming techniques and ensuring that eligible families didn’t miss out on essential state and central welfare benefits.
Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti emphasized that the entire administrative team was mobilized to ensure no citizen left without the support they came for, directing all departments to focus on responsive, compassionate service.
Working closely on the ground to turn this vision into reality, ZPC Nabam Piju, Additional Deputy Commissioner Likha Teji and Assistant Commissioner Mumne Borang coordinated hand-in-hand with local line departments to keep the event running smoothly, systematically, and efficiently for everyone who walked through the doors.
The auditorium buzzed with activity as hundreds of neighbors and families secured vital resources. Many signed up for crucial healthcare security through Ayushman Bharat and AyushmanVay Vandana, while others explored clean energy options like the PM Surya Ghar solar initiative. The camp also served as a launchpad for local livelihoods, offering direct pathways to financial empowerment through PM SVANidhi for small vendors and the Lakhpati Didi initiative for women entrepreneurs, alongside various regional farming and welfare benefits.
NOKSA (Tirap): A Jan Kalyan Shivir – Sarkar Aapke Dwar, commemorating 12 years of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was successfully conducted today at Govt Primary School, Noksa village under Longo circle, Tirap in collaboration with the BJP 57th Mandal Borduria-Bogapani.
The camp brought together various government departments and agencies under one roof, enabling citizens to access a wide range of welfare schemes and public services at their doorstep.
Officials from the Jan Suvidha Kendra and Circle Administration, Police Department, District Medical Office, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries and Forest Departments, Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Women and Child Development Department, Rural Development Department, ArSRLM, TCL, APEDA, banking institutions and Common Service Centres (CSC) provided on-the-spot guidance, awareness and service delivery to beneficiaries.
During the camp, the District Medical Office conducted health consultations and created awareness on Ayushman Bharat and CMAY. The Jan Suvidha Kendra and Circle Administration assisted villagers with applications and enquiries related to ST, PRC, birth and death certificates. Officials from the Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries and Forest Departments interacted with farmers on government support programmes and sustainable livelihood practices, while the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary sensitized livestock owners on animal health and vaccination.
The Women and Child Development Department guided beneficiaries on welfare schemes for women and children, while representatives from SBI, Apex Bank and CSCs assisted citizens with Aadhaar services, banking facilities, insurance coverage and financial literacy. The Rural Development Department, ArSRLM and DoTCL highlighted livelihood opportunities, self-help group initiatives and rural development programmes.
The camp also provided an opportunity for villagers to interact directly with departmental officials, seek clarifications regarding government schemes and receive on-the-spot assistance. The initiative received an encouraging response from residents of Noksa and nearby areas, who appreciated the doorstep delivery of essential services and welfare benefits.
ROING: Jan Kalyan Shivir, to commemorate 12 years of trust, development, and public welfare, with special emphasis on natural farming and the saturation of beneficiaries under various Central and State Government welfare schemes was conducted at Roing and Dambuk today.
At Roing, the Jan Kalyan Shivir was attended by MLA Mutchu Mithi, ZPMs, Lower Dibang Valley DC Fwwrman Brahma, heads of offices and the public.
MLA Mithi emphasised on the achievements of the government stating that in recent days, tangible development is visible even in the border districts and areas and social and economic development of the masses is apparent through benefits provided directly to them.
He appreciated the government’s Jandhan Aadhar Mobile (JAM) mode of development/ reforms which laid special emphasis on the bank account opening for all, to directly transfer benefits through DBT mode, pan India identity through Aadhar and access to mobile internet connectivity to improve information sharing in agriculture- horticulture sector etc.
The DC advised all departments to provide benefits to the public and resolve all the complaints at the earliest.
DAO Nasiya Mena spoke on the importance of natural farming. In this era of mechanisation of farming we shouldn’t forget about sustainable chemical free farming practices integrating livestock farming, she said. She added that there is a need to develop a standard for natural farming, to ease the process for organic certification of farms in the state.
At Dambuk, the Jan Kalyan Shivir was attended by MLA Puinnyo Apum, ZPC Kabang Gammno, PRI members and Gaon Burahs and Buris.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Puinnyo Apum highlighted various flagship programmes and welfare schemes sponsored by both the Central and State Governments. He urged the public to avail themselves of these schemes and ensure their proper and judicious utilization. He also cautioned against the misuse of government welfare benefits.
The Shivir witnessed the participation of more than 420 beneficiaries and members of the public. A total of 394 applications were received during the event, of which 328 applications were disposed off on the spot, resulting in an impressive 83 percent grievance-resolution rate.
The programme also showcased the success stories of local Lakhpati Didis. It was informed that within just two years of the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in 2024, ten women members had achieved the status of ‘Lakhpati Didi’, reflecting the positive impact of government-supported livelihood and empowerment initiatives.
AALO: The Jan Kalyan Shivir in line with the Seva Aapke Dwar initiative was organized at Jirdin village under the 31st Aalo East Assembly Constituency. The programme was attended by Kento Jini, Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs.
The camp was organized by the District Administration under the leadership of Mindo Loyi, Deputy Commissioner West Siang District.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister informed the gathering that the country is marking twelve years of the Modi-led Government, describing it as a significant milestone in governance. He stated that the Government continues to emphasize natural farming and agricultural development, recognizing farmers as the backbone of the nation.
The Minister further highlighted that in Arunachal Pradesh, the Government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu has introduced several welfare initiatives, including CMAAY in the health sector along with other flagship schemes aimed at public welfare. He urged the people to make full use of the schemes and services being provided.
Additionally, the Minister informed the public to ensure proper re-enrolment and correction of names and other details during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) within the stipulated timeline prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
Addressing the gathering, the DC urged the public to avail themselves of various government-sponsored and subsidized schemes being implemented by both the Central and State Governments through concerned departments. He appealed to the Gram Panchayat Chairpersons (GPCs) to play a proactive role in disseminating information regarding these welfare schemes.
He also encouraged farmers to promote natural and organic farming practices, highlighting their long-term benefits for both health and environmental sustainability.
During the programme, Yomli Jini, District Horticulture Officer (DHO), West Siang, shared insights on natural farming and encouraged farmers to adopt vermi-compost practices for vegetable cultivation, agriculture, and horticulture activities.
