ITANAGAR, Jun 21: As part of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026 celebration, the 4th Outreach Programme under Yoga Samavesh was conducted at Humane Academy and SEED Children’s Home, Pasighat.
The programme began with a talk on ‘Yoga for Life’ by Dr Danisha BK. This was followed by an interactive yoga session led by Dr Jayakrishnan K, with assistance from Ainam, Asaphira, and Meni Bagang, BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) students of NEIAFMR (North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Folk Medicine Research).
A total of 30 participants, including inmates, staff of the SEED Children’s Home and Humane Academy attended the event.
The participants actively engaged in the session and showed keen interest in learning simple yoga practices for maintaining physical and mental well-being.
