MP Tai Tagak contributes Rs 7L for Possa flood relief

ITANAGAR, Jun 28: Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak has contributed Rs 7 lakh towards relief and rehabilitation efforts for the victims of the recent flash floods that struck Possa near Yazali in Keyi Panyor district.

The financial assistance was handed over on his behalf by Nada Buda and Tai Arun to Sub-Divisional Officer Tajing Padung to support ongoing rescue, relief and rehabilitation measures for affected families.

Expressing grief over the loss of lives in the disaster, Tagak conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to those injured. He also commended the efforts of the district administration, Arunachal Pradesh Police, the Indian Air Force, SDRF personnel, NGOs, volunteers and local residents engaged in rescue and relief operations.

The MP urged the public to remain vigilant during the monsoon season, avoid unnecessary travel, particularly at night, and strictly follow advisories issued by district administrations.

Reaffirming his solidarity with the people of Keyi Panyor district, Tagak assured continued support to the affected communities during the recovery and rehabilitation process.
