Working in coordination with the Government Railway Police (GRP), Excise Department, Child Welfare authorities and other law enforcement agencies, the RPF recovered over 15 kg of ganja valued at around Rs 7.60 lakh from various railway stations under NFR.

In separate operations, the force also seized 185 bottles of illicit liquor worth over Rs 20,000 from trains and railway premises. The accused were apprehended and handed over to the concerned authorities for legal action.

The force also continued its humanitarian initiatives by rescuing seven minor children, including six boys and one girl, from different railway stations across the NFR zone. The children were safely handed over to the respective Child Welfare Committees and Child Help Desks for rehabilitation and care.

In another incident, RPF personnel came to the aid of an elderly ailing passenger at a railway station. After identifying the passenger through available documents, the team shifted the individual to the Railway Health Unit for first aid before arranging transportation to a higher medical facility by railway ambulance under RPF escort.
