VC interacts with RGU non-teaching employees, calls for professionalism and teamwork
RONO HILLS, Jul 13: Rajiv Gandhi University Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Shivaraj on Monday held an interactive session with the University's non-teaching employees at the Mini Academic Hall, emphasizing professionalism, integrity, accountability, teamwork and innovation as the foundation of institutional excellence.
The programme served as a platform for direct interaction between the Vice-Chancellor and the administrative and supporting staff, during which he shared his vision for strengthening institutional governance, improving work culture and promoting collective growth.
He urged every employee to contribute wholeheartedly towards transforming the University into a nationally recognised centre of academic and administrative excellence.
Earlier, Registrar Dr NT Rikam welcomed the gathering and reiterated the University's commitment to building a transparent, efficient and employee-friendly administrative environment.
The Vice-Chancellor was felicitated by the Rajiv Gandhi University Employees' Association (RGUEA).
Former Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof SK Nayak, Finance Officer Prof Otem Padung and Controller of Examinations Dr Bijay Raji also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of coordinated administrative efforts in achieving the University's goals.
RGUEA president Nich Bapu and Deputy Registrar (Administration) Solung Sonam shared their views and expectations during the interaction.
