Itanagar, Jul 16: A delegation from Satsang Ashram, Deoghar, called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday and donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support families affected by recent natural calamities in Arunachal Pradesh.
Representing the current spiritual leader of Satsang, Parama Pujyapad Sree Sree Acharya Dev, the delegation was led by Satsang’s assistant secretary Shivananda Prasad Ji and was accompanied by devotes and workers of Satsang Thakur Bari, Itanagar.
Expressing gratitude for the contribution, Khandu said he was deeply touched by the Ashram’s generous support during a difficult time for the state.
During the meeting, the delegation shared the timeless teachings of Shri Shri Thakur Anukulchandra Ji and highlighted the Ashram’s continued commitment to preserving India’s rich traditions and cultural heritage.
The Chief Minister thanked the entire Satsang Ashram family for its generosity and unwavering commitment to the welfare of society, stating that the contribution would go a long way in assisting families affected by the recent natural disasters in Arunachal Pradesh.
