The month-long programme, held from June 3 to 30, was launched in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of transforming India's border villages into vibrant centers of development and prosperity.
A total of 403 youth participants representing 245 districts from all States and Union Territories took part in the programme, which offered an immersive learning experience on the strategic, cultural and developmental significance of India's border villages.
The initiative aimed to foster leadership, patriotism, community engagement and national integration among young participants while encouraging them to contribute to the development of border regions.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the programme virtually and interacted with participants. During the interaction, he encouraged the youth to play an active role in nation-building and become ambassadors of development in their respective regions.
