PASIGHAT, Jul 27: A meeting of the District MY Bharat Committee (DMBC) was held here in East Siang district to review the implementation of youth development programmes and strengthen coordination among departments for effective youth engagement.
Speaking on the occasion, DMBC Chairperson emphasized the need for greater inter-departmental coordination and urged all departments to actively support MY Bharat initiatives. The committee reviewed the progress of Youth Clubs, volunteer registration, convergence with line departments, preparation of the district activity calendar, and promotion of the MY Bharat portal.
The meeting resolved to nominate nodal officers in all departments, intensify volunteer registration, strengthen Youth Clubs, organise joint awareness programmes, prepare a district activity calendar, hold monthly review meetings, and enhance digital outreach and publicity to ensure effective implementation of MY Bharat programmes.
Earlier, District Youth Officer Parveen Rao welcomed the Chairperson and members of the committee, and highlighted the vision of MY Bharat in promoting youth participation, volunteerism, leadership, and nation-building. (DIPRO)
