BOMDILA, Jul 31: The inaugural coordination meeting of the MY Bharat District Advisory Committee (MYB-DAC) was held at the Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall in Bomdila on Friday, bringing together all committee members to discuss strategies for strengthening youth engagement in West Kameng district.
District Youth Officer Atit Solangki briefed the members on the objectives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs' Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) initiative and highlighted the crucial role of youth in nation-building. He also introduced the MY Bharat platform, explaining how young people can register through the MY Bharat app to access various opportunities, participate in government programmes and policies, and contribute ideas for community and national development.
The committee deliberated on a comprehensive strategy to mobilise and engage youth across the district, including students, out-of-school youth and school dropouts, to ensure wider participation in developmental initiatives.
Members also shared suggestions on strengthening youth engagement and expanding the reach of MY Bharat activities throughout the district.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to empowering young people and promoting their active participation in nation-building through the MY Bharat platform. (DIPRO)
