Tezu, Aug 1: Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC), Tezu, on Friday released the inaugural issue of its research journal, "The Dawnlit Review," marking a significant milestone in the institution's academic and research journey.
The journal was formally released by the college Principal Dr Kangki Megu at a ceremony held in the college conference hall in the presence of faculty members and students.
A peer-reviewed, biannual multidisciplinary open-access publication available in both online and print formats, "The Dawnlit Review" aims to provide a platform for quality research across diverse academic disciplines.
Congratulating the editorial team, Dr Megu lauded the efforts of Editor-in-Chief Dr PC Swain and all members involved in bringing out the inaugural issue. He also reaffirmed the college's commitment to fostering a vibrant research ecosystem and promoting academic excellence.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Swain said the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasises multidisciplinary research, and the journal seeks to serve as a platform for sharing knowledge across various fields. He encouraged young faculty members and researchers to undertake innovative research in languages, humanities, management, social sciences and natural sciences, adding that the publication would help promote a strong culture of research and academic collaboration at the institution.
