ITANAGAR, Aug 7: Aimed at promoting employment opportunities in the banking sector among the youth of Arunachal Pradesh, a career awareness programme was held at the JN State Museum here today.
Jointly organized by the SBI SC/ST Employees’ Welfare Association (SEWA) and the State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Branch Office, Itanagar with support from the Apatani Interdisciplinary Research Society (AIRS), the programme witnessed resource persons sharing information in details on the SBI recruitment process, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, interview preparation strategies, and career growth opportunities in the banking sector.
Also, an interactive question-and-answer session with the SBI officials enabled participants to get their queries regarding careers in banking clarified.
The programme was attended by SBI Itanagar Region RM Rakesh Kumar, AEDMA president J T Tagam, and Dinesh Kr Singh from Doordarshan Kendra Itanagar Regional News Unit.
The resource persons included Chief Manager and SLBC coordinator Tashi Nungnu, PO M Paulunmang Zou, and SEWA Itanagar regional secretary Tope Karga.
On the occasion, AIRS president Gyati Tado Tachang was feted by SBI SEWA and the SBI Regional Branch Office, Itanagar (RBO).
